Many people prefer a residential study program. The advantages of the residential program include fellowship and study with other students. This is helpful to many as they grow together in the knowledge of the Lord. Often lifelong relationships are developed. Another advantage is a regular disciplined schedule by which to study. Some students have difficulty studying on their own or at their own pace. The Residential program requires that a student keep up with the class schedule. The presence of a professor who gives helpful lectures and is able to answer questions is also a wonderful part of the Residential program.

The Residential program is two years long with 2 18-week semesters each year. Each semester the full time student will take 16 units plus be involved in 10 hours per week of field work/internship. He will also be involved in 18 hours of class each week.

Attendance is a requirement for this program and thus takes a commitment to set aside this time in one's schedule.

In the Residential Program the normal class structure is to meet 4.5 hours per day for 4 days per week. Each semester is 18 weeks long. A typical class structure is as follows (variations apply on various campuses):
